Hello, I would be interested to hear from anyone connected to O'Connor & O'Regan families from the Loghill, Ballyhahill & Mohernagh areas. Great grandfather was Patrick O'Connor (1877 - 1941) and his wife Helena O'Regan (1883-1945). Children include: Mary (1912-? in England) Nora/Hanora (1913-1976) John (1916-1986) William (1918-1982) Patrick (1921-1928) Michael (1923-? in Australia or New Zealand - apparently in a hotel fire) Thanks in advance, Sharon

I am looking for information about father and son David Power.The son david was born in 1868 in Ardagh to David Power who was born in 1833. They were both in 1901 census but father died in 1908 so not on the later one, Son david disappears after that and dont know who he married or if he emigrated to America like most of his siblings. Thanks for any info. His mother was Ellen O Connor or Connors.

I am looking for for information on Jeremiah Power born to David and Ellen Power in 1883. Had a brother called David. Jeremiah married Margaret Lynch in 1923 but she died about 1931. They all stayed in Ardagh all their life and Mary christina was born in 1928 to Jeremiah. Thanks for any help. Father David was born in 1833 and died in 1908 in Ardagh.

My great great grandfather was Patrick Bridgman born between 1811 -1821. He died between 1901-1911. I am looking for a wife and his children. One was Michael Bridgman who married four times. Mary O'Connell, Annie O'Donnell, Margaret Sullivan and Anastatia Ambrose. Michael and Anastatia had 6 children all born in Loghill and possibly christened there. They were Thomas, Robert, Mary, Bridget, James (my grandfather) and Edward. Any information on what happened to the other wives and when the family died or may be buried would be gratefully appreciated Many thanks in advance cheers donna

My dad Gerard Majella Kirby was born in Newcastle West in 1923. His father was Michael a painter and decorater, who died from a fall at 48, I guess in the 30s or 40s. His mother was Ellen, I think nee O'Shea, possibly from a travelling family. Dad had an aunt Margaret or Margy. Three sisters, Bridget, Margy, and Kitty. They all came to England. There was a foster brother Peter Connor. Also another foster child Paddy Tuwey or Tuig, not sure of the spelling. Does this ring any bells?
