red mail Laverty
I am looking for the family of Mary Laverty born around 1865 in Loughgall. Mary left her family and travelled to Australia at the age of 16-18 around(1880 -1885) It is possible her father had remarried around 1875-1880 after the death of her mother. We have no details of parents names or siblings
red mail McAlinden/Donnelly
I am searching for parents of Owen/Eugene Linden/McAlinden, born 1818 in Loughgall. He married Sarah Donnelly of Blackwatertown at St. Jarlath's RC Church parish of Clonfeacle in February 1845. Their first child was Catherine, born & baptized in Clonfeacle parish, then they immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA in 1846 or 1847. Sarah had as many as 5 sisters, including Anne Donnelly who married a John McCarrier who farmed in the Milwaukee area and Jane Donnelly, who also came to the US with them. Owen & Sarah are my Great-great grandparents & I have never found records mentioning their parents.
red mail WINTER, Samuel
Samuel Winter b. 1802 in County Armagh but removed to Cookstown, County Tyrone where he engaged in farming. In 1843 he immigrated to Ontario, Canada where he died in 1882. Would like to connect with others researching Winter in County Armagh.
Looking for info on James LOTTON (b.c.1745-50) and his wife Elizabeth of Fernagreevagh (Ternagreevagh) Townland in Loughgall Parish. Their children were William (c.1776-1833); Ann (b.1781); James (1783-aft.1828); Rebecca (b.1786), she m. James HADDEN of Cranagill, Tartaraghan; and John (1789-aft.1828). James was not born at Loughgall and was possibly a son of William LUTTON (c.1710-1802) of Breagh, Seagoe. This William LUTTON was a grandson of another William who came to Ireland with his brother Ralph from Knapton, Yorkshire. Any details about the early LUTTON'S of Armagh and Down will be appreciated.
