I am trying to trace Bernadette Keenan and Dominic Keenan who were born in the early 1940s in County Louth. I believe that they are/were the siblings of my mother Eva who was born to Annie (Nancy) Keenan in 1936. |
Murphy
Does anyone have any information on the Murphy family who had a farm in county Louth in early 1800's. The father was Piers Murphy. William Carleton, the writer, was the the tutor for the Murphy children sometime around 1820. One of Piers Murphy's son's daughter was Mary Anne and she married a Coghlan. |
