She went to the USA when, I don't know. Her mothers first name was Rose. Her fathers first name was James. I have a list of Rainey found on Tithe Dept - Film 258457 - Drammaul barony of Upper Tomb - at the LDS library in Salt Lake City, with a James Rainey, John Rainey, and Martha Rainey. Another such sheet has Robert Rainey, Will Rainey, Hugh Rainey, and John Rainey. I would like to connect my great grandmother Mary Jane Rainey, if this is possible and to learn of her mother Rose - maiden name and family background.

I believe he was on the ship Portland, leaving from the port of Derry. I believe he was married to Jane Wilson before. leaving Ireland.
