I am looking for any family of vera and harry Murrell .they lived in long road canvey island.I am researching family history, and they were my aunt and uncle.Versa passed away in 1996 I believe,she would have been about 86 years then,any info would be much appreciated.

As a child in the 50s I often came to Canvey Island on holidays with my parents. We stayed in a house on Lakeside Path, owned by a delightful old lady named Miss Amy Housley (spelling ?? Hasley ?). Does anyone remember her ? Any information would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Robert Jennings was born about 1834 and was originally from Steeple, married Emma Beal and, after living in various places around Steeple, ended up at Southwick Farm, Canvey Island. Children were Robert William Beal (born out of wedlock), Alfred Albert, Charles Walter, Elizabeth Hannah, Ernest, George Edward,Harry, James, Samuel and William John.

Looking for information On Luigi Polli who was born in 1843 in Milan.During the 1880's He was living in WEST HAM,lONDON as a cook.I know that he came to Canvey Island and ran a hotel.He was married to Lily Florance Allen ,she had a son from a previous marriage-Douglas Allen.Luigi died in 1929.I have no other information ,so any info would be great!!
