Patrick Hogan b. 1780 Tipperary, Ireland
Tipperary, Tiobraid Arann, Tiobraid Arann, and Parish
I am looking for any information about Patrick HOGAN (b. @1780 in Ireland, best guess, no other records) who emigrated to America in 1800, to O'Fallon Township, Illinois; married Nancy Simpson Best, 1803; was divorced from her in 1823; disappeared from U.S. census records 1825; sired James HOGAN (1821 - 1911); father of Russell HOGAN (1863 - 1948); father of Harvey HOGAN (1909 - 1974); father of Kendall Russell HOGAN (1941 - 2014); who fathered me. We have traced the genealogy as far back as Patrick, but we have not been able to discover anything more, because of the loss of public records during the Easter Rising of 1916. Thank you. |
Power family
Tipperary, Tiobraid Arann, Tiobraid Arann, and Parish
I am looking for a Kate Power d.o.b either 1876 or 77. She went to England and married a George Crocker from the Hallsands area of Devon. In 1902 They were were in Hardingstone, Northamptonshire, where George was employed as a coachman. I realize Kate (or Catherine) Power is a fairly common name but if anyone can shed light I'd appreciate it. So far I have been unable to trace the marriage which would provide something more than I have regarding her family origins. |
