Looking for anyone who might have known the Gubbins Family. Joseph (a gentleman) had a son called John in 1834, he went to England and married Mary McGrath in 1854. The family lived in Bermondsey Dockhead. I'm searching for my 4th Grt Grandfathers family. I don't have much on him other than his name, born around 1818 Ireland, arrested and sentenced for 7yrs in 1847 for stealing a cow in Smithfield, Dublin. He was sent out to Tasmania, when he was released he married Catherine Wallace (Brown) and started a family. He sponsered Thomas Creely b 1838 out to Australia in 1856, maybe a son from a marriage before his arrest. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Seeking any information on the O'Regan family early 1800's. Our ancestor Michael O'Regan was born around 1823-5, his father being James O'Regan, farmer of Adare. Michael was a soldier in the 33rd Regiment of Foot when he married Anne Cowen of Berwick. These were our g.g.grandparents. Any help would be much appreciated
