red mail Rev. Moore Morgan 1777-1857 Dunlavin, Dun Luain, and Parish
I am trying to learn about the family of Moore MORGAN who was the Prebendary of St. Nicholas Church of Ireland in Dunlavin. His wife was Margaret (nee CONWAY) and they had at least 4 children, Sarah, Owen, John and William. Margaret Conway's family details are unknown. She may well not have been born in Dunlavin. I believe Moore Morgan's father was Lewis Morgan who was born in County Kildare. Owen Morgan came to the colonies and settled in Melbourne. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

red mail Jeremiah Cullen of Grangecon Hill #1 Grange Con House
Jeremiah Cullen wife Catherine and daughter Mary were living here in 1848 and immigrated from here in 1852 to Quebec where they continured to Dubuque Co. IA. In Grangecon they leased from Peirce O'Mahony. I believe Jeremiah to be related to the O'Mahony in some way. Peter Cullen Tynan Mahony a genealogist was from Dublin and his family were also in Grangecon. He has passed on now so I cannot contact him. He told me I would find the connection and let him know. I didn't know it would take 25 years. Peter has an ancestor Andrew Cullen of the area also. He is about the age of my Jeremiah with in a few years. I'd like to learn more about Jeremiah's parents and possibly Catherine's. Also were there more children. Mary married Michael Gilligan and had 7 children in Dubuque. Only one married my Great Grandfather Michael V. Any info on Cullens or Mahony's welcomed tia Marilyn

red mail Wall or Byrne or Kealy Dunlavin, Dun Luain, and Parish
trying to find irish birthplace and D.O.B for my grand father james wall who in 1888 married Mary Carey from Tipperary at Saint Andrews RC Church in Dublin. James Wall and Mary Carey Wall set up home at 25 poolbeg street, Dublin which is now the site of the Irish Bank adjacent to the River Liffey. James and Mary Carey Wall later show up in the UK 1901 census as living at 80 lemon street in Liverpool, england. James wall died in 1928 at the age of 63 and is buried at liverpool's ford cemetery as also his wife Mary Carey Wall who died in 1938 at age 68. James Wall was probably born in County Wicklow say 1864/5. Mary Carey worked at the 'big house' which we believe to be located in Dunlavin. Most likely birthplace for James Wall is Dunlavin, Baltinglass or perhaps Blessington all 3 in Co. Wicklow. My great grandparents Edward and Kate Wall show up in 1901 census as living in Dunlavin with two of their sons, edward and william and, incredibly the same census shows them as owning a car in 1901.
