I am researching the diaspora of the Farrell family of Balloyboy near Scarriff Co. Clare in the 1870's. I have the names of 6 or more children of Patrick Farrell and Mary Morrissey. From a scrap of paper found in a relatives belongings we believe her birth was in Scariff & was registered by her father Patrick Doyle on 31/3/1888 by a Registrar named Sampson of the Counties of Galway & Clare.
