Marriage certificate stated she was a widow. I am unable to find exactly when and where my grandfather died. He may have died in Chesterfield or Sheffield but could have in WW1. red mail Joseph Jones 1882- of Stockport, Cheshire
I am trying to find the death of my grandfather Joseph Jones. I know he had at least three children, Charlotte Elizabeth 1909-10, Joseph A 1911-11 and Caroline 1913 - 1998. My grandmother, Charlotte Elizabeth Jones nee Taylor also died around the same time. I have not found the date of her death but believe it was in Chesterfield. My mother was adopted and her names changed to Elsie Nightingale. Just before she was adopted she was placed with a family called Bowler. I am unable to find them. In 1911 my grandparents had a boy in their care called Frank Ross. I found his mother and his spouse but do not know what happened to him immediately after my grandparents died. My mother talked of an older brother and it must have been him. Any information or clues about any of these people gratefully received
