I have found my Gt Grandfather Walter Piggott born 1868 originating from Ugley before moving to Yorkshire. His father was Samuel, mother Rebecca Law and Grandfather John and Mary Ann. Does anyone on here have any further information on any of these people please.

Lodge Family Dunmow Essex Great Dunmow
I am looking for THOMAS WILLIAM LODGE born to ELIZABETH LODGE ON 21 Jan 1881.He was born in the Dunmow Workhouse (as he was illegitimate).On the 1891 census he is with his mother,as she is back living with her family again in Dunmow. Elizabeth married a HENRY LEDGERTON in the early 1890`s she then went on to have more children but after 1891 I cannot locate him. I would be grateful if anyone has any information on him Thank You Margaret

Looking for a proven descendant of Edward Hockley, husband of Gwendoline H R Hockley of 28 Magdalen Street, Thaxted. I have a Real Photo Postcard of Edward Hockley, probably taken in the 1930s, which I would like to get back to the family. The inscription on the reverse also indicates that Edward was a Sapper (Royal Engineers) and gives his service number.

I have a John CORNELL bap 14 Mar 1756, son of Edward and Elizabeth CORNELL. John married Mary SAVIL on 28 Nov 1782 at Wimbish, and he and Mary had at least eight children baptized at Wimbish: Mary (1783), William (1783), Elizabeth (1785), John (1788), Thomas (1791), Keziah (1793), Ann (1796) and Edward (1799). Grout family circa 1600 Manuden
Am trying to trace the parentage of a Richard Grout born 1578(he was born in Clavering) but i think moved to this parish at a later date. He married a Margaret Felsted in Debden in 1598. As there were i believe two families of Grout's in this area i am trying to locate his lineage going back before this date. Can anyone help or is connected to that family.

John Grout(1607-1681) Broxted
He married a Mary Boram in Manuden in 1634 and have reason to believe that he returned to this parish between 1634 and 1642. Am looking for any record in this parish(or Chawreth)for births.
