red mail Thompson Family Theydon Bois
Does anyone have any info on the above family, I think they were farmers. My gran, from the Forest of Dean stayed with this family in the early 1890's. A member of that family, Kate was a cook at St John Cass School, Aldgate, and she got my gran a job there. A member of the Thompson family moved to the Forest of Dean presumably for work, and he was my gran's grandfather.

Friends Required Manor Park
My mother - Gladys Grace Fenn nee' Owen - was buried at Wood Grange Park Cemetery in1943. I discovered, due to an act of parliament, she along with many hundreds of our loved ones at rest, were exhumed and reburied in mass plots to provide space for a housing development. If you have a member of your family who was laid to rest at Wood Grange Park Cemetery please contact me .

red mail LANGHAM Romford
I have WILLIAM LANGHAM born December 1827 at Romford. He was the son of Lewis Langham, a corn merchant, and I know pretty much everything about William until March 1871. Then he disappears. He and his wife, Annie Elizabeth, legally separated in 1871 due to hs drunken, abusive behaviour but, after that year, I cannot find him on any census. He was a carpenter for the Merchant Navy working out of the Royal Arsenal at Woolwich but I can find no discharge papers for him. A William Langham can be found at various workhouses but I cannot prove that it is our William. Any suggestions or help please?
