red mail STEELE ANCESTRY
I am searching for any STEELE information. Mathew STEELE died in Newtownlimavady in August 1818. He was married to Martha FERGUSON, they had seven children: Sarah, John, Martha, Elizabeth, James, Joseph, Mattie. Most of the family immigrated to U.S.A. between 1820-1835. Matthew possibly had a brother Alexander, and there is a cousin William RALSTON who lived in Lisdivin and Mountjoy, Tyrone County. Please help me if you can. Thank you.

red mail McLean / Shails
David or Alexander McLean. I am searching for my G. Grandfather David Mclean's family. He was born approx November 1868 in Balteagh, Limavady, Londonderry. He married Ellen Smylie b: 21/01/1875 in Dungiven, Church of Ireland. He was a Groom at 'the big house'. They ran away to get married and she was disowned by her rich family. Her father was George Smylie and mother Margaret Lynn. He was a shopkeeper. Ellen was born in Ballymena and was literate. David's father was Alexander McLean b approx 1832 who was married to Rebecca Shails. David and Ellen moved to Ayr in Scotland around 1900 and had 8 children: Alexander / David / Jean / Rebecca / Robert John (my G.
