Eliza Chesney born about 1819 & married John Hudson Ballyscullion
Hi I'm looking for more info about John Hudson b1819 in either Yorkshire UK or Ireland; I'm looking for any info about his mother, father, brothers or sisters. He married Eliza Chesney born about 1819 on 25th December 1843 at Grange Presbyterian Church, Ballyscullion, Antrim Co, Ireland and she died in 1888 in Longbush, Southland, New Zealand. They had a son David in 1844 in Casheltown, Port Glenone, Antrim, Ireland. Any info about John or his mother, father, sisters and brothers would be wonderful, thank you, Suzie
red mail REILLY-McKENDRY Milltown, near New Ferry
Researching HUGH REILLY (born about 1800) of Kilvillis. There 's possibly a connection to the McKENDRY family.
red mail LINDSAY-McCLUNEY Taylorstown
Researching LINDSAYS from Taylorstown before 1800. May be related to McCLUNEYS
red mail Nicol/Dobson Taylorstown
Hi, my grandmother Jane was born in Taylorstown, County Antrim. Her parents were James Nicol and Esther Dobson, whom I understand married after her birth. As the family story goes, James Nicol was a farmer or policeman or both. Little Jane was orphaned at two and taken to Glasgow to live with an aunt, and remembered a cousin named Peter. I've tried everything over the years,I even went to Taylorstown from USA, but not much luck, any ideas folks ??, I'd be so greatful, thanks, Freda
red mail Nichol, Patterson, Archibald, Parker Taylorstown
My ancestors Hugh Archibald=Jane Parker and Jane Patterson=John Nichol all seem to have been born in Taylorstown Antrim, Ireland around 1800-1810, although the Nichols reputedly hail from Scotland and certainly went back there. Hugh Archibald and Jane Parker were married in 1825 in Grange Presbyterian, and their son James Nichol married Elizabeth Archibald...they had several children before returning to Scotland and having my grandfather Hugh Nichol in New Monkland, Lanark, in 1856. Elizabeth Archibald was born around 1828 in Connor, Antrim. I'd love to know more about the Irish origins, if there are any details out there.
