Searching for information regarding family of Ada and Jess Penton of 16 Elgin Road, Freemantle living there in the earlier part of the 20th Century. They had 9 children, Gertrude (my Grandmother), William Jesse (died aged 14), Elsie (died in childbirth age 26 ish), George, Jess, James, Olive, Dorothy and Edith. We are trying to trace Jess who worked on the ships in and out of southampton (as did George and James). No trace of Jess after about 1925 when he crewed on the SS Arcadian's Mediterean Cruise. Any local knowledge much appreciated as drawn blanks everywhere.

Charlotte Hilda Vaughan Curtis who was born 1888 in Yokohama,Japan is the only child of ALFRED WILLIAM Curtis.(mothers name not known) Mabel Grace married Francis Leigh Hutchinson 15 August 1896 and died in Christchurch,New Zealand,23 September 1943.
