Mumford/Munford Portsmouth
Looking for a needle in a haystack! Looking for the son of Ken Munford/Mumford. Believed to be from Portsmouth but by no means certain. Believe Ken was born in the late 1930/40. He had a child by a lady called Georgina Stockley or Chapman. He possibly married and had another son. His first son Marcus is looking for his half brother.
red mail Charlotte Parr married William Mullins 3 Jun 1816Saint Marys,Portsea,Hampshire,England Portsmouth
Hello, Charlotte married William there on that date but the records dont seem to list either spouses parents- children were Robert and George. Robert goes on to serve in navy and married an Isabella Hamilton in Argyle. In terms of the Parr and Mullins children Roberts older than George so potentially either William or Charlotte had a parent or grandparent called Robert. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

red mail Family Research Portsmouth
I am researching the FLORANCE family of Porsea during the 18th and 19th Centuries. There are two specific areas I am seeking information. 1) John Florance & Sarah Florance (nee Webster). John (1772-?1847) was a carpenter, as were at least two of his sons John (jnr) and Charles (1813-1883) my great grand great father. The latter identifying himself as variously as a carpenter / joiner / builder living in various roads in Portsea latterly Stanfeild Lodge Aukland Road East. I have censuses but would like further information regarding their Trades / professions. 2) Henry Florance (1844-1925), my grandfather, who served an apprenticeship (census 1861) with a John W Wheeler, draper / linen weaver High Street (near Post Office) Portsmouth. I wish to find out more about the apprenticeship and John Wheeler. Many thanks' James
red mail THOMPSON Reuban Arthur Family from Portsea Portsmouth
HI I am trying to find anything I can regarding Reuban and his family (my great grandfather) He was born 1891. He died later in Wakefield in 1928. Was in the army at one stage. His father was John Thompson and mother possibly Jane Cotton. It looks like his father remarried a Maria Rebecca ... They had many children so he had many siblings. He married a Lilly Wale and had a daughter Alice Lillian Thompson. His mother Jane possibly died in the late 1890's (so did a couple of Thompson babies so this may be why. Any info gratefully received.
