Wills family -James Francis 1815
Looking for precise marriage date for James FRANCIS and Amy WILLS in 1815 in Hernehill.
I have a christening date for Amy of 30 oct, 1796 -would love a birth date if possible. Her parents William WILLS & Elizabeth X (love to know) seem to have had about 9 dtrs after 1786 and so I'm guessing a marriage date for them of about 1785. Were they born in the area??
Love to know anything about this family. Thank-you

John W and Frances Millington
I am trying to trace the background of my grandparents John and Frances who were married in London in 1902 but their first child John Godfrey was born in Herne Common 21/03/1905.I am wondering if Frances (who was adopted but surname Williams before marriage) came from Herne as I have found a James and Susan Williams living in Herne who maybe adopted Frances?
Any suggestions ?

would appreciate any information at all.

SARAH JANE DAVID and JOB FREDERICK BIGGS
I have recently found that my paternal great grandfather was named Job Frederick Biggs. He was born in 1854 in Bristol and was a Commercial Traveller in Drapery. He did not marry my great grandmother although she and their 2 children used his name from mid 1890's. On 14.4.1890 Job married Sarah Jane David, a 34 year old spinster at the Parish Church at Herne, Kent. Her father was Thomas David,a Copper Refiner, and Sarah Jane had been born in Swansea. Both Bride and Grooms residences were given as Herne. Job gave his profession as Draper. By 1891 they were back in the West Country, living in Leckhampton, near Cirencester. What intrigues me is how he came to be in Kent describing himself as a Draper. Did he, at some time between 1881 and 1891 actually live in Herne, or have his own business there, or was Herne, by then, the home of the David family?
