Dunoon early 1900's - 1947. Vincent Freed Dunoon
Tracing Vincnt Freed lived Alexandria Terr. & later Woodbine, Bullwood, Dunoon. Appeared to be a military man all his life. Born Kent 1870. Served in Boer War. Moved to Dunoon from Ireland approx. 1906 with wife Trixie. Two sons Jack(1907 don't have place of birth & Ivor 1912 Dunoon) Vincent a captain Glasgow Yeomanry. Died at Woodbine Cottage 31.12.1947. We're desperate for any information about Vincent and his life in Dunoon

Does anyone have access to 1851 Census of Dunoon? A long shot but possible Donald and/or Ann McInnes may have moved there from Coll around 1834/5 and deceased by 1859. Son John married in Bute 1859 stated from Dunoon on marriage cert.
