Looking for information on the whereabouts in Hightae lochmaben that Maggie Boyes gave birth to a daughter Williammina Boyes June 1891 Maggie is shown at South carthat farmhouse on the census April 1891 but her daughter was born at Hightae maybe a relatives? Any info would be very much appreciated

The above was my 2nd great grandfather On the 3rd August 1802 Thomas Brown married Elizabeth Irving at Lochmaben, Dumfries, Scotland and I am hoping that they were his parent but I can find no record of a birth for him except that on 1851/61/71 England Censuses he gives Scotland as his place of birth and in 1838 he married Elizabeth Duckworth, Blackburn, Lancashire. I would be grateful for any help.

Hi, I am seeking information on the parents, grandparents, siblings of Andrew Creighton born 1802 and emigrated to Pictou, Nova Scotia. His father was Samuel Creighton b. 1770's who married Mary Richardson (I have no info on her either). Samuel was born to Andrew Creighton and Violet Irwine. I have not been able to find any data on Violet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!
