Seeking information on any descendants of the Cotton family that lived in Landwade Manor from about 1428 to 1850. The last Cottons to own/occupy Landwade Manor were as follows: Sir John Cotton MP for Cambridgeshire between 1764 and 1780. His son, Admiral Sir Charles Cotton (d1812) and finally Sir St. Vincent Cotton and his brother Alexander Cotton (b 1804) who sold Landwade Manor in 1854 when the Cotton family association with the manor and the parish ended. Seeking male descendants with Cotton name from this line to participate in a DNA study of the Cotton Family.
