red mail Livingston/Campbell
I am looking for any information on Hugh Livingston and his wife, Effy (Euphemia) Campbell. They lived in the Morvern/Lochaline area in the early to mid 1800s. Hugh died between 1845 and 1849 and is buried in Kiel Cemetery I believe. They had 8 kids and Effy took all 8 children to America in 1851. I believe Hugh was a brother to Donald Livingston and his wife, Betty MacInnes. I am looking for any information, including birth and death records or even information on Hugh and Effy's parents. Hugh and Effy married in 1829 in Morvern.
red mail Ardness
I would be interested to hear from any descendants of the families who lived at Ardness at the time of the 1861 census. They were: - Chirsty Macdonald(71)and Margaret(24) his daughter. - Alan Walt(50), wife Elizabeth(47) and nephew William Lees(17).- John Macgregor(31), Mary(62) his mother, Ann(19) sister and Margaret(5) niece.
red mail Ardness (Morvern, Argyll)
Seeking descendants of Angus MacInnes, carpenter, who lived at Ardness at the time of the 1841 census. His family included Christy (aged 65), Anne(25), Dougald(4), and Mary(2). Also John MacKinnon(2) and Sarah Macmillan(2).
