Leigh, Postgate, Lass, Middleton Horsham
Looking for further information on George A Leigh and Margaret L Robison who married in Bristol in 1936. Margaret was born in 1909 and passed on in 2004., possibly in Cambridge. They had one known child, Rosemary Leigh b.1946 who married Ian C Postgate in 1966. Sadly the marriage failed. Rosmary then married Rodney E Lass in 1983 and Ian married Barbara S Middleton also in 1983. Hoping someone out there can help.
red mail HORNER Cambridgeshire (County, Cambs, CAM, England) and the Isle of Ely
Looking for information on WILLIAM HORNER bn 1816 in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. WILLIAM is the son of WILLIAM HORNER (1796) and MARY BELLAMY. William married Anna Allpress in 1839 and they had two children, William (1839) and Mary (1841). We are looking for the whereabouts of William (1816). In the 1841 census William (1839) was living with his grandparents. What happened to William and Anna is the question. Did they leave Cambridgeshire and relocate to another area? Why did they leave their children behind ? William (1839) subsequently emigrated to the United States with his family - living in Cuyahoga, Ohio. Any help would be appreciated.
