Birtwistle/Boswell marriage
Thomas Birtwistle Boswell married a Rachel Sirat / Firat /Sarat in Tarvin about 1790. Birtwistle seems to be an alias which stopped being used when their son Thomas Boswell married Mary Whitley in 1814. I have been unable to trace the ancestors of Rachel Sirat who died in 1806 and is buried in Witton cum Twabrooks cemetery. There seems to be a Sarat family in this area of Cheshire but I cannot find a Rachel Sarat born around 1770.
