red mail Bach/Beach/Moon
Trying to find details of James Bach (aged 20) who married Sarah Ann Moon (aged 22) at the Registry Office, Tredegar in July 1872. They lived at 38 Pochin Crescent and had three children, Elizabeth A born abt 1874, William Arthur (our great grandfather) born in 1876 and Alice born abt 1881. On the 1881 Wales census Sarah Ann is recorded as being a widow but we can find no record of a birth or death for her husband James Bach, who was a steelworker. Sarah Ann died as Sarah Ann Beach in December 1891 at 38 Pochin Crescent, the Bach family name, by then, having been anglicised to Beach. Would be very grateful for any information.
