red mail George & Johanna Dunn
I am looking for George Dunn born 1824 in Harleston, Norfolk who married Johanna Manning born 1836 in MacRoom, County Cork, Ireland. They lived in Tring, Hertfordshire. I believe Johanna Manning's father was George Manning. Their daughter Mary Dunn born 31st May 1861 in Dunstable, Bedfordshire married William John Winslade born 24th April 1861 in St. Faith, Havant, Hampshire. Can anyone help me find the ancestors of George Dunn or Johanna Manning.
red mail The Smith Family of Tring
Hello, I have been researching my Smith family of Tring for some years and have added some new pieces to the puzzle which have only served to add more questions. Perhaps someone else can be of assistance. My gggrandmother was Diana/ Dinah Smith born 1815. I always assumed her to be the daughter of an AgLab named Francis as per the birth record I have found. However, she married Richard Bould/ Bowl , son of Yeoman farmers from Oddington Gloucestershire. They married in Paris France as was the fashion of the well to do in those days. Her obituary which was recently found, says that she was a well educated woman, having been given a full education as a young girl and was the daughter of a wealthy family. How do I go about tracing people of "financial substance" in this area. I know there was a wealthy Smith who owned Tring Park breifly in the early 1800's, but I have no reason to beleive that this is my Smith as he had no issue and left his Baron title to a nephew. Could my Smith family be the "Poor relations?" Where can I search for say tax records or information prioir to the 1841 census? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
red mail Tring, Delderfields
Looking for anyone related to Delderfield's who originate from Tring 1800's onwards.
red mail Kipping and Ellingham
My g-g-grandfather (Daniel Millo) married Elizabeth Kipping of Tring in 1845 in Haggerston, London. I can trace Elizabeth through her parents (Henry K and Elizabeth Ellingham), but not with any certainty before that. Can you help, please, with any earlier history of the Kippings and Ellinghams? The Kipping/Millo marriage was pivotal in my ancestry, as it moved the family out of silk-weaving and into greengrocery.
red mail STRATFORD, JOHN & WILLIAM
I am trying to unravel a mystery. John Stratford (son of George & Fanny nee Kingsley) arrived in Aust on the Gloucester on 11/7/1873 age 19, with William Stratford age 18. His brother William would only be 9 yrs old at the time. My question is who is the William shown with John on Queensland immigration records.

red mail Elizabeth Lawrence (née Forbes)
Searching for any relatives of Elizabeth Lawrence (née Forbes) who was born in about 1878 and was one of the children of Alfred James and Mary Jane Forbes who emigrated to Canada in 1906 with two of their children. Elizabeth married Jack Lawrence and lived in Tring in about the 1930-40’s. Any information, for family history purposes, would be appreciated.
William DANIELL Tring
I am searching for the birth place of my 3xggf William DANIELL who, according to the 1841 census, was born in Hertfordshire.
