red mail KOZY CAFE WESTON SUPER MARE
TRYING TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE KOZY CAFE AT WESTON SUPER MARE, OPPOSITE THE FLORAL CLOCK WHICH WAS OWNED BY THE GILL FAMILY IN THE 1920'S. ALSO TRYING TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE GILL FAMILY. THEY WERE ALBERT, EDWARD, ERNEST AND CHARLES - ALL BORN ABOUT 1880 - 1890. MY GREAT AUNT EDITH MARY MITCHELL MARRIED EDWARD GILL AND ON HIS DEATH MARRIED ERNEST GILL WITH WHOM SHE RAN THE CAFE. ETHEL MITCHELL MARRIED ALBERT GILL AND THEY ALSO RAN THE CAFE AND PASSED IT ON TO THEIR SONS (OR ONE OF THEM), MAURICE AND RON GILL. ANOTHER GREAT AUNT, EVELYN ELIZABETH MITCHELL, MARRIED CHARLES GILL. THE MITCHELLS WERE BORN AT BARTON REGIS SO I IMAGINE THE GILLS CAME FROM THERE AS WELL, OR FROM BRISTOL.
red mail BEAMENT
The William Beament b 1894 may well be the William Oliver Beament who married Doris Elizabeth Hoaye and they had Roger b1934 and John Michael b 1928. The family originated in Crewkerne and this Branch descended from a John b 1778. My Maternal Great Grandmother was a Beament but from Johns Brother - Henry.
