My GtGtGrandfather was John CHILD who migrated to Australia in 1863. He was left a sum of money from Martha Taylor who died in 1913 in England.I have no further details who she was or and if she was related or the exact date she died. William Phillips had a brother, Richard who migrated to Australia about the same time.Any informtion leading to Richard's family would be appreciated. G/Grandmother's maiden name was PRICE, lived in Shropshire U.K., had four children Noel GWILLIAM (born July 1900), Eric GWILLIAM, Edith (who never married)and Florence (dec.aged 28 yrs). Noel moved to Australia in 1926/27, Eric also moved to Aust. Fear some skeletons in the closet as my grandfather refused to talk about his family (died Western Australia 1992).

George's parents were John Barnett (born 14 Jan 1839, MarburyCheshire) & Mary Ann Stephens (born 17 Oct 1841, Shrewsbury) The had 4 children that I know of - George who came to Australia, Charles Richard who died 16 Aug 1882 Whitchurch, Salop, Mary born 1870 Marbury and John who married Agnes, they had 3 children that I have photos of Doris who married Alfred Whittaker, Kathleen Lloyd who married Thomas E Hall who went to live in Shrewsbury, and Bertie J. Mary Ann must have married John Suker after John Barnett died as the 1891 Census Schedule No 77 at47 Newtown Street were living John Suker Head, 54year. Tailor, Salop Whitchurch Mary A Wife, 48 years, Charwoman, Salop Shrewsbury Mary A Barnett. S/Daughter, 21 years, Dressmaker, Norbury Cheshire John Barnett S/Son, 19 years, tinsmiths Apprentice,Norbury CheshireI. look forward to finding some living relations.

I have details of a family tree that was taken from a family Bible. It starts with a Joseph Morgan who was born on the 17th April 1754, and his wife Elizabeth who was born 15th July 1765. They were married on the 15th June 1792. Unfortunately it doesnot say where they came from, but I feel sure that they came from Shropshire.

Thomas Blakemore was born in 1819 at Donnington, Shropshire. He married Martha Teague on the 25th March 1850 at Shifnal. He died 19th July 1880. Martha was baptised on the 4th July 1830 at the Hill Top Methodists Church, Wombridge. Martha died on the 28th December 1903. Other Spouses George Morton Manning. I believe the parents of Thomas Blakemore to be Joshua Blakemore and Elizabeth Leedham who were both born in Donnington, Shropshire. Thomas married Elizabeth on the 11th October 1802 at Shifnal, Shropshire.
