I am trying to find any descendants of Claude George C. Ward b.1899 St Georges, his brother Frank Thomas C. Ward b.1896 St Georges, and their sister Winifred Christine Ward b. Priors Lee 1893/4. Parents were Harriet Fanny Ward nee Weekes b. 1870, and Thomas Ward b.1866 Shropshire. Claude married Phyllis Chapman 1924 in Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire. Both died in Wrekin, Shropshire, 1978, and 1980. Frank married Rosa J. Jillard 1917 in Willesdon Middlesex. red mail Martin Family of Lilleshall/Donnington
Hello, I am researching the family tree of Martin from Lilleshall and Donnington Wood and would be grateful for any help that members can shed on these for their descendants. I have so far traced them back to Joseph Martin born about 1786 in Lilleshall and he married an Elizabeth but the line seems to stop there. Any infor for past or future generations would be gratefully received.
red mail Ruscoe/Mitchell family
Hi, I have some knowledge of my grandmother, Edith Mary Ruscoe, born in York 1895. She had two sisters, Dora and Muriel and an older brother Frank Mitchell Ruscoe. I do not know what happened to any of her siblings. I know Frank was in WWI but that is all I know. Edith married Clifford Poyner Ball and lived in Dawley for her married life when she had two children, Dennison Ball and Muriel Ball. Edith Mary Ruscoe's parents were Hannah Mitchell and John Ruscoe. John Ruscoe was one of nine children that I know of, George, William, Mary Jane, Joseph, Sarah, Elizabeth Ann, Enoch, and Fanny. They were all born in the 1860's, 1870s. My great grandfather John, became a baker and lived until almost 100. His parents were William Ruscoe and I think Mary Phillips. My great grandmother Hannah Mitchell had two sisters, Ellen and Jane. Her parents were David Mitchell and Ann Bainbridge Johnson. Ann was born in Stanton. Hannah was five when her father passed away and her mom remarried William Dennison. This is who my uncle and finally my son is named after. If there is anyone who knows of anyone in the family, it would be greatly appreciated to hear from you. My sister and I are the only ones left in our line and we now live in Canada. Thank you so much.
