red mail Shropshire Jarretts
Trying to find information on Jarretts living in the Marton area of Shropshire throughout the nineteenth century. Joseph Jarrett (b.1829) married Sarah (b.1827) and had children Francis (b.1856), Sarah (b.1858), Mary (b.1860), and John (b.1869). A grandchild Walter was born in 1880, but I don't know to whom. John married Martha (b.1867) and their children included William Earnest (b.1894), my grandfather. They appear variously on the English or Welsh censuses, and are sometimes recorded as Jarratt. The given residence varies between Perrys, Stockton Wood and High Gate. I've checked all the census records and I think my research can go no further without checking BMD certificates, or finding someone else researching the same family.
