red mail Alfred Edward THOMAS
Am searching for any info about Alfred Edward (Fred/Freddie) Thomas. Now know that he was born in 1899, the youngest of six siblings (Stanley, Florence, Silvester, Jessie & William). He married and later divorced Sarah (Ciss) Margaret Smith Ford. They had a daughter, Jean Valerie Thomas, born 1 Dec 1931, who is my mum. Alfred's father was a headmaster and they lived at the school house in Cardiston (?) parish of Salop in 1901. Stanley, William and Alfred followed in his footsteps. Stanley became a headmaster in Lincolnshire, William in Lyme Regis, Dorset, and Alfred taught at one time at Llanfair Waterdine. They were employed at schools known at that time as Headmaster Conference Schools. Mum never knew her father and as time is moving on I would love to be able to provide her with some missing parts to her life. She believes Alfred got into some sort of strife and was sent to prison. Any info at all would be much appreciated.
