Hi I am looking for any information on Jane EMMERSON born around 1845 in the county Fermanagh. On her marriage certificate her parents are listed as William Emmerson- farmer and mother Mary McLaughlin. Her birthplace was listed as Fermanagh. She emigrated to Australia prior to 1867, not sure of the exact date as I have not found any records for this. On her marriage certificate she married John Thomas ASTON(saddler) in 1867 in Bowen Queensland Australia. He was from Armagh TANDRAGEE and emigrated around 1865. She married Alfred CHARLTON after the death of her first husband around 1877. She died in 1920 Cloncurry Queensland. The only information I have about her relates to Australia. Thanks in advance.

red mail John Montgomery Fermanagh
Seeking details of John Montgomery, County Fermangh. Spouse name unknown. Known children are George Montgomery, born c1799, Sarah, Elizabeth and John Montgomery born c 1821. These four children went to New Brunswick, Canada c1837. I know from Sarah's obituary that father's name is definitely John and grandfather is given as General Montgomery of Fermanagh. Also from the obituary, I know there was at least one more daughter in this family, Sarah being the third daughter of John. The son John Montgomery is my g-grandfather. He married in New Brunswick, Canada, to Catherine McCutcheon, daughter of John McCutcheon of County Tyrone. Any information on John Montgomery or General Montgomery would be greatly appreciated! Thank-you. Heather

red mail WILLIAM GIBSON buried in Co. Fermanagh in 1913
FRANCES CUTHBERT (documented as being born in Fermanagh per her information a marriage certificate) married my paternal gg uncle WILLIAM GIBSON in Dublin on 2 Oct. 1876. I would like to know if the WILLIAM GIBSON that was buried in Co. Fermanagh in 1913 is is my gg uncle. Anyone out there who is family of Frances or a WILLIAM GIBSON who might have a clue? > More information on William: Married Frances, lived and worked in Dublin per 1901 and 1911 census--- William had a brother and sister who came to America in 1867 (ALEX AND MARCELLA)--- Had a father named THOMAS GIBSON who was a farmer in Co. Longford. So I am really hunting for the Gibson family but am trying to work from the Frances Cuthbert angle since research is thin on William's side of the family. Anyone familiar with facts surrounding the William Gibson buried at Fermanagh in 1913? Thanks.
