red mail Clearys in Waterford
I am trying to trace my family's Irish roots. My gg Grandfather, William Cleary, appears to have been born in Glamorgan Wales in 1858, however his first 3 children, John Michael, Ellen and Patrick were born in Waterford Ireland from 1876 to 1880. The next 4 children (William Joseph, James Edward, Florence May and Margaret) were born in Bradford Yorkshire from 1883 to 1895. His wife, Mary (nee Blute) was apparently born in Waterford Ireland c.1856. Any information anyone may have on William or Mary would be very appreciated. Kind regards.

red mail John Doyle & Cathrine Power
My Fifth Generation Grandparent were born cira 1750 in or near Waterford in the Porlaw & Ballyduff area. We hired a researcher, but he was unable to locate Baptimals for John and his son Richard, but of Richard's children (and his wife Catherine Griffin). The family emigrated to Ontario, Lanark County in 1832. My branch of the family immigrated to Butler county Iowa, after the family had resided in this area for over 40 years. There would be relatives both in Canada and Iowa. I would like to find my family in Waterford. I have exact date of some of my aunts/uncles Baptisms. Anyone connecting to this branch or root, email me. Sincerely, Maureen
