Woodham Family Kent/Derbyshire  Sep 2008 (144215)
Trying to find traces of my paternal Grandfather Henry George Woodham, born abt 1880 in Kent. Married abt 1900. Moved from Kent to Woodville Derbyshire abt 1902. Left the family home 1904 and was never heard from again. Rumoured that he went back to Kent and then on to Wales. He was a blacksmith and wheelright. In 1941/2 a the BBC put out a message that a Henry George Woodham was dangerously ill in a Cardiff hospital. Could that have been my Grandfather? I would love to solve the mystery, can you help?
BROWN'S Cardiff  Revised 20Aug 2007 (119122)
In researching my family history I found my fathers brother Robert Leonard BROWN had married in Cardiff 1915 to Frances Emily HOWELL/HOWELLS and had issue Robert Stanley Howard BROWN who was born Cardiff and married 1946 Violet Clarice DUNSTAN, Robert and Violet had issue Geoffrey H BROWN 1946. twins Michael S and Peter A BROWN 1949, Lesley J BROWN 1950, all born Cardiff. Then the next child born to Robert and Frances was George Anderson BROWN born in the next street to me at Fulwell, Sunderland, County Durham and I think in looking through the GRO index that he married at Cardiff in 1946 May SALMON and so far I have found one child born 1947 named Diane R BROWN. I think that Robert and Frances also gave issue: James BROWN born at Stockton, County Durham and Grace E BROWN born Cardiff, I know there are others but as yet I have not found their births. I would love to make contact with any relatives of my uncle and cousins that I never knew.
