I am looking for any information about the coffee shop owned by my great grandparents, Nicola and Maria, in penarth road in 1900 I would love to see any photo's of it, or just to know what the shop was called! Thanks to anyone who can help me!

my grandfather Harold Augustus Huntley was born on the 6th april 1901. he was baptised on the 26th may 1901 at St Peters RC Church in roath cardiff to parents John and Catherine huntley nee ryan. in the 1901 census they were living at no 4 nora street roath. A family rumour suggested that Harolds mother was a Lizzie connors/oconnors/connor/oconnor, so very surprised that catherine appears as mother on baptisum. Any information, leads would help as family trace at a stand still.

Am seeking details of the marriage (1890?) of Mary Ann Bale (b 1857 Bridgwater, Mary Ann Dibble?) and John (George?) Winslade (b 1868, Bridgwater). In 1881 Census Mary A Bale(24)is listed with husband James (24) and son Richard (1) at 100 Gold's Buildings, Bridgwater. No trace of her or John in 1891 census but they turn up again in the 1901 census at 83 Barclay Street, Bridgwater with children Richard Bale 21; James Bale 19; Emma Bale 17; Henry Bale 14; Charles Bale 12; Kate Winslade 5; Harry Winslade 2; Florrie Winslade 2 Ethel Winslade 6 months. Family apparently split up when Mary Ann died and Kate and Ethel eventually ended up I believe with relatives in Penarth. Ethel got married in Cardiff in 1930s

Does anyone claim to be descended from Mary Yarwood? She was born about 1811, and some of her sons and daughters were Catherine, Thomas, John, Ann, Abraham and Sarah. Local historian has lots of information on this most notorious family. It's not nice!

Thomas Davies and wife Mary White married in about 1912-13 had two sons Shadrach and Maldwyn (unsure of correct spelling).They lived in Cardiff I would like to now more about Thomas Davies who also had a son Sidney Richard by his previous marriage. Mary White was also married before and had a daughter Esther White.

I am trying to find the marriage of John Godden & Sarah unk. The following children were all bapt. at Cardiff St John, Glamorgan Wales. Abraham bp. 16 March 1817, Daniel John bp. 28 Nov 1819 and Ann bp. cir 1822. According to the 1841 census, neither John nor Sarah were born in Cardiff, Glamorgan. Any help much appreciated. I am constructing a family tree and would like to find information on my maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Louise James, born around 1889 in Cardiff. I know that she was one of 10 children and that she had an elder sister called Marianne and another sister Ethel as well as a brother David. I have no other info on other siblings' names. She married Charles Carpenter in 1913 and they had four children - John, Mona, Harry and Cynthia (known as Jeanne).I believe my grandmother died around 1969/1970. I have trawled the different census records to no avail so far, so be grateful for any information

searching information on my g-grandfather Thomas D Watkins, born June 20, 1823. Need info to find name of his parents or any siblings. He left Wales before 1860 to come to US and settled in Montour county, pa and later Plymouth Pa where he died in 1897. Would appreciate any help
